Another Year’s Over

I know, I know, it’s only December 14. “We still have seventeen days of 2011 left!” you might say (check my math?). Well I say this to you: fuck your math (sorry Pat). Today we look back on a year which, as many of you know, has been a pretty big one for us.

We released our first album. We went on our first tour. We sold out our first show (and proceeded to do that quite a few more times – thanks to you all). We played the CMJ Music Marathon in New York. We played the South by Southwest festival in Austin. We traveled over TEN THOUSAND MILES this year to play shows. That blows our minds. We even opened for Third Eye Blind…it’s been a wild year.

What we have for you below are two videos compiled from tons of live footage over the past year. Many of you will see your smiling, wasted faces in them. Cheers everybody. Thanks for the last one, and here’s to the next one.

Mind you: it’s not over. We still have two more shows in 2011. Both in our backyard. On Friday, December 23, we’ll be supporting our dear friends in En Fuego as they release their new record. That show will be at Milkboy Philly with all your details RIGHT HERE.

Also, we’ll be headling a show with our other dear friends in The Levee Drivers which we told you about below this post. On Friday, December 30, we’ll be throwing down at The Tritone on South Street, all your details can be found RIGHT HERE.

So again, thanks, and come see us over the next couple weeks and we’ll drink the good stuff, toast the year, and then toast your brains.
