Quick Update: Recording, Arlene's Grocery Show, and Caravan

Hey all,

We've been kind of dormant on here for a bit, because we've been working on a few things behind the scenes. Want to hear about them? Of course you do!

Firstly, we're excited to announce that the Murphy boys are heading back into the studio at Silent Barn this weekend with Dara and Kegan of 1989 Recordings (you know, the wonderful folks who recorded our single that came out last month). We'll let you know more about what we're working on in the weeks to come.

To kick off Memorial Day Weekend, we've got a show with our buds Faders (rumors are floating around about their NEW ALBUM *cough cough*) and Shivery Shakes at Arlene's Grocery on Friday, May 22. See below for details on that. FB EVENT HERE

And finally, we're happy to announce that we're heading up to Belgrade Lakes, Maine for the SEVENTH YEAR IN A ROW (holy hell) for the Caravan Music Festival. Caravan holds a pretty special place in our hearts, and the fact that it's been kicking for seven years without all of us getting arrested is effin' inspiring. Whew. FULL LINEUP HERE

That's all for now, we'll keep you up to date with show announcements and whatnot in the weeks to come.

REMINDER: Show at Cameo 4/12 w/ DTCC

Hi everyone,

Here's a friendly reminder that the show with our best buds Doubting Thomas Cruise Control at Cameo Gallery is TOMORROW.

Some have voiced concerns over the date and time of the show, so allow me to address them: GAME OF THRONES WILL STILL BE ON HBO GO WHEN YOU GET HOME. You'll probably have to watch the spinning circle of death until 11 anyway, so why not see a fuckin' rock show beforehand?

I hope that clears things up. See you jabronis tomorrow.

NEW SINGLE — "All Gone (Eschaton)"

Hi there,

We're very pleased to announce the release of our new single "All Gone (Eschaton)" featuring the B-side "Adeline." It's now available for download at Bandcamp on a name-your-price basis.

The tracks were recorded at the Silent Barn in Brooklyn with our new friends at Dara and Kegan at 1989 Recordings. The amazing artwork above was done by our friend and most-likely distant relative C.W. Murphy.

We'll be promoting the release at our show next Sunday, April 12th, at the Cameo Gallery in Brooklyn with our good friends Doubting Thomas Cruise Control. Hope to see you there!

UPCOMING SHOWS:

April 12 @ Cameo Gallery w/ Doubting Thomas Cruise Control

May 22 @ Arlene's Grocery w/ The Faders

July 31 @ Caravan Music Festival
