This may sound strange. You probably wouldn’t have predicted this. This is not something any of us anticipated. We’re playing a show with Third Eye Blind. Yeah, you read right. If you were keeping score last year, you might remember that we were afforded the mega monster opportunity to play with mega monster band MGMT. We met the dudes at Fordham University and promptly proceeded to open for them to about SIX THOUSAND PEOPLE. It was pretty intense, and by far the biggest stage we’ve ever been on.
Well, lightening struck twice, and this year’s event features Third Eye Blind. We’re amped to play with the bros, and glad they’re letting us share the stage with them. Mind you we probably have different opinions about how loud guitars should be and how much whiskey should be drank before the sun comes up, but regardless, this will be a kickass show. Rock out to Penrose, and then slip your flip flops on for some smooth sounds from the 90′s.

Also, word on the street is that there will be a secret Penrose pre-Spring Weekend party/show in which we transform the beloved Jolly Tinker into the grungiest rock club/speak easy you’ve ever thrown up in. Details to come, but nowhere that your dean can see them…
