The SHAKEDOWN (4/9 NYC) +++ The Monday Night Club (4/11 PHILLY), and you guessed it, Penrose is rocking both. Once again, the band will dust up the Jersey Turnpike to make for a weekend of New York and Philly. We use the term weekend loosely, as this time around it’ll spill into Monday night.
First up, Saturday April 9th, we have THE SHAKEDOWN! You know it. You love it. You were probably there last month. If not, you missed out. FEAR NOT though, we’re playing this excellent event once again and YOU are invited. Specifically you. Here’s the scoop: ALL AGES. CHEAP DRINKS. OPEN BAR 10pm-12am. Hosted of course by our dear friends The Shake. Doors at 8, Penrose at 9. This fantastic makeshift venue is called THE RED DOOR (140 w. 24th bw 6 &7). You’ll figure out why when you show up. For our hometown folks who can’t make it to NYC on Saturday, we’ve got a real special one coming up. Our other dear friend Becca Lane has asked us to join her and countless other artists as the featured band during the open mic event: MONDAY NIGHT CLUB! Also performing will be CHUCK TREECE.
